Happy New Year

Happy New Year

Hello everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful time over the holidays and are refreshed and feeling positive about the new year 🙂

For me it’s always a period of refreshing, starting over and planning for the year ahead. I don’t really get on with new years resolutions, but I do like to start planning - where do I want to go, what do I want to do, what do I want to (overall) achieve etc.

There is no doubt it’s been hard over the last few years with the pandemic, strike action in the UK, cost of living crisis, and global wars and uprisings. For me, this is also a time to reflect, refresh and be thankful for what I have.

It’s also a literal time of change, for me - after nearly 20 years - I’m finally leaving London for some better air and healthier living.

For The Printed Tiger, I have a load of ideas - and I’ll be adding some new items in Spring I think you’ll like. Follow me on Instagram to see them launch.

In the meantime;

  • This is what I’m listening to

Here is a beautiful song to start the year on from artist Jasmine Jethwa - Have I Ever Been.

I thought this was a really nice chilled track from a fantastic singer songwriter. Jasmine creates folk driven alternative songs with beautiful melodies and performs locally.

If you aren’t already on spotify you can get a free account to listen.

  • This is where I’m inspired

A wonderful bringing together of animals and art over the years - beautifully curated and presented here so you can see from wherever you are in the world.

  • This is what I’m eating

Here is a link to Sam and Dan’s blog designed to help busy people eat real food that tastes good, using quality and wholesome ingredients. I’ll be studying this and creating some recipes at home for fresh new flavours.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of January and spring season ahead.
